Randy McStine is a guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and producer whose diverse career as a solo artist and side-man has led to collaborations with members of King Crimson, Joe Satriani, Frank Zappa, Tears For Fears, Miles Davis, and many more. Randy’s solo work crosses genres, incorporating Rock, Progressive, Blues, Singer-Songwriter, Folk, Pop, and Ambient music. In 2020, he formed McStine & Minnemann with drummer and composer Marco Minnemann. The duo has released three albums, and made their live debut in 2022. Randy’s latest solo album, Mutual Hallucinations, was released in November 2024, with new music on the way in 2026. McStine serves as a touring member of the British progressive rock band, Porcupine Tree, along with being a collaborator with Porcupine Tree founder, Steven Wilson, in his solo music.
