Kevin J. Anderson is an international bestselling author best known for his work in the Dune, Star Wars, X-Files, and Batman/Superman universes, and his work is also intimately connected with progressive rock. During his lifelong friendship with legendary Rush drummer Neil Peart, he coauthored three steampunk fantasy novels—Clockwork Angels, Clockwork Lives, and Clockwork Destiny—based on Rush’s last studio album, as well as their original dark fantasy book Drumbeats.
