Randy McStine is an acclaimed guitarist, bassist, and vocalist, whose initial work under the name Lo-Fi Resistance led to collaborations with members of King Crimson, Joe Satriani, Porcupine Tree, King\u2019s X, Tears For Fears, and more.<\/p>\n

McStine\u2019s work embraces genres such as Rock, Progressive, Blues, Singer-Songwriter, Folk, Pop, and Ambient.<\/p>\n

Toward the end of 2019, McStine released a new album called \u2018Idle\u2019, which coincided with a 20-date North American tour as support for The Pineapple Thief.\u00a0In 2020, Randy released “Adopted Son – Live in Vancouver,” which was recorded on that tour, along with launching a new band with Marco Minnemann (The Aristocrats), aptly titled McStine & Minnemann.<\/p>\n

McStine & Minnemann released 2 physical albums in 2020, a digital EP in 2021, and a digital single so far in 2022. There were surely be more to follow.<\/p>\n

McStine was the opening act for the Canadian dates on Riverside’s North American Tour in April 2022. McStine & Minnemann were featured on Cruise to the Edge in May 2022. Randy recently toured as the guitarist with Porcupine Tree.<\/p>\n
