Check here often for more announcements!<\/p>\n<p>We are excited to announce the long-awaited return of <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em><strong>Rocket Scientists<\/strong><\/em><\/span> to the stage&#8230;and it&#8217;s happening at ProgStock 2019! <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em><strong>Rocket Scientists<\/strong><\/em><\/span> was formed in the late 1980s by keyboardist Erik Norlander and vocalist\/guitarist Mark McCrite. The two released their first CD, <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em><strong>Earthbound<\/strong><\/em><\/span>, in 1993 joined by then-session bassist Don Schiff. Schiff quickly became a part of the band for their second release in 1995, <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em><strong>Brutal Architecture<\/strong><\/em><\/span>, and the three toured in the US and Europe in 1997 culminating in the live CD, <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em><strong>Earth Below and Sky Above: Live in Europe and America<\/strong><\/em><\/span>. In 1999, they released <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em><strong>Oblivion Days<\/strong><\/em><\/span>, raising the bar on already high expectations.<\/p>\n<p>At the turn of the century, Norlander, Schiff and McCrite all worked on solo projects in addition to backing symphonic rock vocal icon Lana Lane on several tours around the world. After an eight year hiatus, <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><em>Rocket Scientists<\/em><\/strong><\/span> released its fourth studio album <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><em>Revolution Road<\/em><\/strong><\/span> in 2006 to high accolades from the press and fans worldwide. In January 2008, they released their first box set entitled <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em><strong>Looking Backward<\/strong><\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><em>Rocket Scientists<\/em><\/strong><\/span> toured internationally in 2007-2009 to support the Revolution Road and Looking Backward releases performing at RoSFest, 3 Rivers Prog Festival, Bay Area Rock Fest, Baja Prog (MX) and Rotherham Rocks (UK) in addition to a long string of club dates. Their latest releases are <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><em>Refuel<\/em><\/strong><\/span>, a 12-song full-length album mixing vocal and instrumental tracks, and <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><em>Supernatural Highways<\/em><\/strong><\/span>, a 30-minute all-instrumental Digipak EP.<\/p>\n<p>ProgStock 2019 is where the 10-year dry-spell of <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><em>Rocket Scientists<\/em><\/strong><\/span> playing live comes to an end.
